Mamavation Monday - Week 10 of marthon training redone

Can I just say, I was on fire last week!!! I got in a workout everyday, and followed my training plan. I definitely started August out on a good foot. Now if I can just keep up my motivation and kick my butt into gear. I hope to start Turbo Fire this week and I am very excited about that. Ok, here's my wrap up of last week -

Monday - Swimming with the boys, and playing in the pool
Tuesday - 3.03 miles speedwork, bowling
Wednesday - Pop Pilates muffin top workout, Spark People kickboxing, swimming
Thursday - 3 miles easy run
Friday - Pop Pilates intense abs, Spark People jump workout
Saturday - swimming
Sunday - 17 miles run

Let me tell you that running while watching the Olympics really is a motivator. So I'm still ramped up for this week. Here are my goals -

1. Continue to follow my training plan
2. Start Turbo Fire for my XT days
3. Work more on my eating
4. Get up to workout in the morning before work.

How about you guys? How was your week? Any new goals for this week?

  3. OMG, the Olympic runners make me want to simultaneously tuck my tail between my legs, curl up around my running shoes, and cry, AND get out and run even harder. Such amazing motivation!

That said, this week's goal is to kick 10K training into high gear.

  6. I love the Olympics! It is very motivational, inspirational! Did you see the South African 400 Meter double amputee? If that doesn't inspire you I don't know what will! He was awesome!
Anyway...my goal this week is just to get back into my routine. Went on vacation and got sick...so I've been out for a little I over a week. Boo!!! Good luck to you!!! Keep up the awesome work!

  9. Holy crap, did you crush 17 on a treadmill? Dang girl, you got balls. I was a whimpering bored baby-pants doing 3 miles yesterday. Mind you, I don't have anything but ugly basement to look at. I need a tv in my exercise room...
