Mamavation Monday

Well I was a bit better with my workouts this week, but I do need to work on portion control for my meals. It's just that my hubby is such a good cook, I want to keep eating it :) Ok, here's my recap:

Monday - Turbo Fire Core 20, 30 min walk
Tuesday - 3 mile run, 30 min walk
Wednesday - Booty Boot Camp, 30 min walk
Thursday - Turbo Fire HIIT 15, 30 min walk
Friday - Turbo Fire Sculpt 30
Saturday - Mamavation 5K

I've decided to change my turbo fire plan a bit, and do HIIT workouts on my non-running days, and then either sculpt 30, tone 30 or core 20 on my running days. I hope that it will help me stay motivated and reach my fitness goals. Here's my schedule for this week:

Monday - Turbo Fire Low HIIT 25
Tuesday - Turbo Fire Core 20, 2-3 mile run
Wednesday - Turbo Fire HIIT 15
Thursday - Tone 30, 2-3 mile run
Friday - Low HIIT 25

What does your week look like?

  2. Wow, that's pretty hard core! I'm working out 2 or 3 times a week right now, but I'd love to get it to that level!

    1. Rebecca..... I started out just running 3 days a week, usually 2 - 3 miles a day. Then I realized that I wasn't reaching my full potential so I added XT on the other days. I've only been doing that for less than a year :)

  3. I can't wait to read how the HIIT change up works for you. I know when I am getting into the groove of this body when it is post-partum I'll be riding the mindful portion control train for a while. Have a great week.

    1. Kia.... I love my HIIT workouts. I don't like to spend a lot of time working out, I always feel like I need to be doing something else. With HIIT workouts I still feel like I've worked out even though it's only been 15-25 minutes :)

  4. I'm so impressed with your consistency last week. That's one area that I really seem to struggle with these days.
