Mamavation Monday
Hey awesome readers! I am back from vacay!! Unfortunately, I had a horrible cold all week so I did not get any runs in on the beach, but I did walk a bunch and ride bikes around town. Oh, and yeah, I spent a ton of time fighting the waves in the gulf. It was a lot wavier than usual. Amazing time, that's for sure!!! I didn't want to come home. Well here's my plan for the week, and I better get my butt moving because I have a 15K planned in September.
Monday - Brazil Butt Lift
Tuesday - Brazil Butt Lift, run
Wednesday - Brazil Butt Lift
Thursday - Brazil Butt Lift, run
Friday - Brazil Butt Lift
Sat/Sun - long run
Tonight's Mamavation TV is about changing your cleaners to natural, healthier ones.... I cannot wait to watch, interested in joining us?

Fabulous Friday
It's been a great week, I'm starting to get back on track with my workouts, and even got a couple runs in!! We've been busy getting ready for our week at the beach. I cannot wait!!! The beach is my sanctuary, I always come back so relaxed afterwards. I plan on quite a few beach runs, too.... they are tough, but so amazing!!!
How was your week? Any amazing plans for the summer?

Review of the book A Day to Remember
I had the complete pleasure to review a book written by one of my awesome friends, Lydia Richmond. It's called A Day to Remember and it chronicles a few days in the lives of a group of five preteen friends, Annie, Katie, Tara, Angela and Beth. It starts out with the typical activities of normal best friends, but ends up with a heartfelt story of a decision that they will remember forever.
As I read this book, I really enjoyed going back in time to when I was about their age and the enjoyment I had with my best friends as we spent our long summer days together. My two boys did also read the story for review, and while they thought it was a great story, it was a little too girlie for them....... so I suggest this book for your girl readers. P.S..... They wouldn't allow me to take a picture of them reading, they were afraid it would hurt their image. :)
Not only was the book awesome, the illustrations were great. You can check out the illustrator, Richard Armada, here. This is Lydia's first book of many, as I hear through the grapevine that she already has a second adventure planned for this group of friends. She has been blogging for a while over at Cluttered Genius, and tweets as @lydsrich. Make sure when you're over at her blog you check out her daughter Miss Sassy Pants's weekly post, it's really cute!!
Ready to purchase this awesome book, you can find it on Amazon or Booklocker. Also, come help her celebrate her first book at her twitter party she's hosting on August 7th at 9 pm EST; she'll be using the hashtag #BFFsRemember.
Bath Wash Review
If you are on the hunt for some more bath wash, I have got two great ones for you. My friends at Vitacost, sent me two different ones to try and I have to say I can't decide which one I love more.
The first one I tried was Method Pure Naked Moisturizing Body Wash Surfside with Aloe Vera. The fragrance is amazing, I feel like I am on the beach taking a shower. It lathers nicely, and my skin feels really soft after I am done. The second brand I tried was Vitabath Body Wash Pomegranate & Blood Orange. Again, an amazing fragrance with a very nice lather, leaving my skin nice and soft.

Both body washes are completely natural, not filled with anything that is bad for you, and they both are reasonably priced ranging from $5 to just over $7, when you purchase them through Vitacost. And honestly, I cannot decide which I like more. They both get A+'s in my book!!!

Pink Himalania Salt
If you love salt as much as I do, I know you are looking for healthier alternatives. There are a few out there, but I just reviewed an awesome one...... Pink Himalania salt. It's better for you. Himalania Pink Salt is 100% natural, unrefined and unpolluted. Because nothing is added, the Himalania Pink Salt has retained its precious purity. Himalania Pink Salt is naturally rich in elements and minerals (Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, Copper, and iron). Iron is the naturally rich element which creates the unique pink color of this speckled salt.
And the stuff tastes awesome. You only need to use about half the amount you use with regular salt. It's a little more pricey than regular salt, about $8.79 for 10 oz at Vitacost, but it is so worth it. Definitely consider it!!

gimMe Organic Roasted seaweed snacks
I am a huge snacker, and I am always looking for new healthy snacks that satisfy my hunger. My friends over at Vitacost, really delivered on this item. They sent me a package of gimMe organic sea salt Roasted Seaweed Snacks. O M G...... talk about delicious. I was already a seaweed fan, but this one is amazing. It's lightly seasoned with sea salt, giving it a nice light taste to it. Through Vitacost, you can get 6 - .35 oz packages for $10.74, pretty reasonable to me. Calorie wise, it's very low, just 25 calories per serving, which is exactly what I'm looking for. I ended up eating the entire package, which is 2 servings, but it did satisfy my hunger and I felt good about what I was eating. So before you pick up the potato chips, or crackers, consider these seaweed snacks to satisfy your salt craving.

Kid's vitamin Review
Thanks to the wonderful folks at Vitacost, I was given the opportunity to review some more vitamins with my kids, which for them is so exciting. They love to be a part of when gets stuff to review. I was given two different kinds to review.
The first one, Vitamin Friends Multivitamin vegetarian gummies was a complete hit. They loved the taste, and were eager to take them every morning. The gummy isn't as soft as most, but it's more like a firm gummy and they thought that was great, because it didn't stick to their teeth as the soft ones do. A major plus for me, is that it's 100% All Natural Free of: Gluten, Gelatin, Nuts, Dairy, Egg, Soy. Only thing I didn't like was that they have to take up to 4 vitamins daily to meet the daily requirements.
The second vitamin, Megafoods Kids B Complex wasn't as much of a hit. First off, it doesn't say whether it's chewable or not on the bottle, so we mistakenly assumed that because it was a kid's vitamin it was chewable. Were we wrong, we couldn't get that nasty taste out of our mouth all day. The second issue with it not being chewable is it is a larger vitamin, making it harder for my kids to swallow. It definitely is great with the amount of B vitamins it offers and that it is free of Gluten, pesticide, soy, dairy and GMO. I'm going to have to say that I probably won't be buying these again.

Mamavation Monday
Well I really slacked this past week. I was at a conference for most of the week, and driving an hour each way. Anyone who knows me knows that I am not a morning person as it is, so getting up early just wasn't in my vocabulary. I did try to make sure that I didn't overeat, though. Here's my pathetic recap -
Monday - Brazil Butt Lift Bikini Body, bowling, swimming
Friday - Brazil Butt Lift Ipanema Booty, bowling
Saturday - 3 mile run, swimming
Sunday - bowling and swimming
Here's my plans for this week -
Monday - Brazil Butt Lift Higher & Tighter
Tuesday - Brazil Butt Lift Bikini Body, run
Wednesday - Brazil Butt Lift Ipanema Booty
Thursday - Brazil Butt Lift Bikini Body, run
Friday - Brazil Butt Lift Higher & Tighter
Sat/Sun - run
I also will be mixing some bowling and swimming throughout the week. We will be headed to the beach next Sunday, so I plan on getting a few beach runs in :)
