Fabulous Friday

I hope to have a somewhat relaxing weekend planned. H has a soccer game tonight, and they both have bowling league on Sunday, and I have an 11 mile run planned. Other than that it should be cleaning house and grocery shopping. A typical, normal weekend for me :D

How about you? What's on your agenda for the weekend?

It's been a while

Sorry, I've been absent for a few months... no excuses, really, just life getting in the way. Here's what's going on in my life. I decided to go back for my Masters Degree in Public Safety Administration, training for a 1/2 marathon at the end of the month, and started the PIYO workout program. With all that on top of being a working mom, I guess I've been a little busy :) But that said, I miss my blog and all my readers, so I hope I can become a little more consistent with writing again.

What's coming up in my life? I have 3 1/2 marathons scheduled until the end of the year, and I've committed to helping a friend run her first. Then next March, crazy me committed to running the run portion of an Ironman... what was I thinking? LOL.

So how about you all? What have you guys been up to? Tell me what's going on in your life.

I'm back

I want to apologize to all of you for my lack of posting! Blogging is something that I love to do, and I'm very mad at myself for not making the time to do it. For the last month I have been fighting being sick, and trying to stay consistent with my exercise, which has not been good. This week, I'm feeling a little better so I am renewing my commitment. Yesterday I ran 8.06 miles, which is right on track in my training plan for my 1/2 marathon in December, so I'm very happy about that, but I need to get on track during the week, and not allow life to get in the way.

So, who else has been lacking motivation and wants to join me in this renewed commitment? Comment below if you're in!
