First Day of Fall Virtual 5k
I have finally done it - I decided to run my first marathon, but I wanted it to have a little more meaning than just running a marathon (I know "just running a marathon"). Anyways, I decided that I would fundraise for Operation Jack, a group that helps raise money for autism. Here's a little information about them - Operation Jack
That said, we all know one of the best ways to raise money is to host a virtual 5K. We know we all love running, bling and prizes. Well I have all of that. I am working on an awesome medal to give to all who participate, and I'm working on getting some great prizes to give out. The cost is going to be $20 for those who want a medal, and $15 for those who don't.
So, who's in????

Mamavation Monday - week 11 Marathon training Do over
Well, I wasn't quite as motivated this week as I was last week, but I still did pretty good. I was really tired, and I think it was for two reasons. One, I think I'm fighting off a cold or something, because I have had a sore throat and a sinus headache. Two, Aunt Flo was on her way to visit. I, did, technically only take 1 rest day, since I'm counting bowling as exercising and I walked an extra mile 4 days last week, but I took 2 days extra off on my training plan. Below is my wrap up of the week -
Monday - TF 20 Low HIIT, TF Stretch 10, TF ab ignitor, 1 mile walk
Tuesday - bowling, 1 mile walk
Wednesday - 3 miles of speedwork, 1 mile walk
Thursday - TF Firestarter, 1 mile walk
Friday - nothing
Saturday - bowling
Sunday - 11 mile run (was supposed to be a total of 18, never ran the other 7 :( ), bowling
Not too bad, but I'm striving for better!!! My goals for this week are to eat better, complete my training plan for the week, and drink my allotted amount of water (100 oz).
Here's my upcoming schedule -
Monday - TF Fire EZ class, TF Stretch 10, TF ab ignitor
Tuesday - 3-4 miles incline training
Wednesday - TF Firestarter Class, TF Stretch 10, TF ab ignitor
Thursday - 3-4 miles easy run
Friday - TF Core 20 class, TF Stretch 40 class, TF ab ignitor
Saturday - rest
Sunday - 19 miles run
How did you do with your goals last week? What are your goals this week?

Fabulous Friday
What's fabulous about this Friday? First and foremost, it's Friday!!!! This week has been crazy and long!! Second, band camp ends tonight and school starts Monday, bringing some normalcy back into my family's lives. Another fabulous thing is that I am working on a virtual 5k to benefit Operation Jack and Team4Autism to be held on September 22nd, and I have already got some great companies on board with some prizes. More information will follow soon on this, I'm just trying to get the page set up, and then I will make it public. Tomorrow is one of my BFF's birthday, so we will be celebrating (childless) with her and some other friends.
What's fabulous in your life right now?

Inspiration Wednesday
I need to remember this! I will overcome anything that comes in my way, even if it's myself. I will not let me talk myself out of becoming a better, stronger person. Yes, that is what I want to be, but I always seem to come up with excuses as to why I can't workout. I'm not going to allow myself to do that anymore - it's time to become what I want to become, not allowing myself to take the easy way out. Who's with me????
*PS - stay tuned, I will be hosting a virtual 5k to benefit Operation Jack and Team4Autism on Sept 22nd. More information will be coming, and I have some great prizes lined up. :)

Mamavation Monday - Week 11 Marathon Training
Monday came and went way too quick yesterday, so again this is a day late. I started turbo fire last week as my XT program and I love it. It's a HIIT program and it definitely challenges me. My training week went pretty well, I only missed my long run on Sunday because we went to Busch Gardens to celebrate my youngest son's birthday. I figure the amount of walking I did between Saturday and Sunday definitely was exercise :) I also have been walking every day to pick up my son from band camp. Here's my wrap up of the week -
Monday - BB Fit test, bicycle crunches, 1 mile walk
Tuesday - 3 miles hill work, 1 mile walk
Wednesday - Turbo Fire Greatest HIITS, TF Ab Ignitor, 1 mile walk
Thursday - 3 mile run, 1 mile walk
Friday - TF Firestarter, TF stretch 10, TF ab ignitor, 1 mile walk
Saturday - walking
Sunday - walking
My goals this week are to keep up with this consistency, and make sure I get my long run in :)

Fabulous Friday
I have to say it's been a pretty fabulous week again. Training is going well. I started a new XT program that I absolutely love, so far it's keeping me motivated. My youngest hits the double digits next week so we are planning on taking him away this weekend, and I'm feeling a bit energetic (now if I could just stop falling asleep on the couch LOL).I also was nominated for the Liebster Award by 2 different bloggers - now I just need to pass along the award :) Life is good!
Who else is having a fabulous week?
