Not so fabulous Friday
Unfortunately, this is not a fabulous Friday for us runners. One of my very good running friends was out running this morning with one of her friends, and her friend was hit and killed by a car. My heart is just breaking for my friend. They were both wearing lights, and it appears that the car just didn't see them. Here's the article.
Please be extremely careful when running in the dark, you just never know where there might be a car. I'm sorry that I can't have some happy news for you today, but I am just too upset right now.

Mamavation Monday
Wow - it's Monday, already??? Last weekend went by so quickly!!!! Yesterday, I was able to have a girls day out, and my sisters-in-law, mother-in-law and I went to the Southern Woman's Show. This is something we have been doing for over 10 years, and we always have such a great time. Check out my attempt at a vlog and let me know what you think. Now on to the recap of my week. I did ok, I didn't get a workout in every day, but I'm okay with that. I got 4 days in, so it wasn't like I completely slacked.
Monday - rest (I felt I needed it after my 17 mile run)
Tuesday - 3 miles incline run, 1 mile walk
Wednesday - Turbo HIIT 15, Sculpt 30, bowling
Thursday - rest
Friday - 1 mile walk
Saturday - 12 mile run
Sunday - 5.2 mile walk (Woman's Show and IKEA)
I did pretty well with my water intake and I drank my shakeology 6 days out of 7.
Here are my goals for this week -
Monday - Turbo Fire Fire 45 EZ
Tuesday - 3 miles speedwork
Wednesday - Turbo Fire Core 20 and Stretch 40
Thursday - 19 mile run
Friday - probably a rest day, since we are driving to Georgia
Saturday - I'm sure we will do a ton of walking and hiking
Sunday - easy run
My first attempt at a vlog
Good morning, everyone!!! I decided to vlog about my fun time at the Southern Woman's Show. Please let me know what you think and I am open to any suggestions on how I could do a better job. Thanks!!!!
Alright, suggestions??? Go!!!

Fabulous Friday
It's Friday, and it's absolutely beautiful here. Cool, but not cold, sunny and just down right gorgeous. I absolutely love fall!!! It's been a great week, and I have a girls day on Sunday going to the Southern Woman's Show. I can't wait - it's an annual tradition (we've been doing it for over 10 years), and we always have the greatest time.
I am one week closer to my awesome long weekend in the mountains. We're going with my BFF and her boys, it is going to be a blast. I cannot wait to get out of dodge for a few days and just relax!!!! This will be my view. :)

Inspiration Wednesday
As I was looking and thinking about what I wanted to post today, one of my fellow bloggers posted something perfect.
Please remember that even if the scale is just ticking down slightly, or your pants are only started to get a little "not tight", you are still making progress. Even if you haven't noticed any changes, as long as you are giving your all, you are changing yourself on the inside!!!!!

It is another Fabulous Friday. I have had an awesome week. I've been drinking my shakeology and taking my vitamins, and my energy level is through the roof now. I ran 12 miles on Sunday and have worked out every day this week. Another thing I have been doing is writing a to do list everyday, and I don't feel so overwhelmed every day. My son's marching band is playing tonight at the homecoming game, and he has a marching band competition tomorrow, so he is very excited! I love listening to them play.
Here's me rocking pink today for breast cancer.

Mamavation Monday - Getting Back on track
Ok, it's a day late, but yesterday was crazy!!! Good news is, I am getting my mojo back and getting back on track. I got all my runs in last week, and did short ab workouts the other days to count for my cross training. I joined a Turbo Fire challenge group that started 10/1/12 so I can hold myself accountable for my cross training. Also, my work started a wellness program, and I am acting as a team captain. Again, some accountability!!!! My eating was much better last week, and I have been drinking my shakeology breakfast every day so my energy level is much higher. In a nutshell, I am feeling good!! :) So here's my wrap up from last week -
Monday - ok, so I did slack here
Tuesday - 3 mile run, bowling
Wednesday - Turbo Fire ab ignitor
Thursday - 3 mile run, bowling
Friday - ab ignitor
Saturday - rest day
Sunday - 12 mile long run
Goals for this week -

Tuesday - 3 mile speedwork, ab ignitor
Wednesday - Turbo Fire Low HIIT 25, stretch 10, ab ignitor
Thursday - easy run, ab ignitor
Friday - Turbo Fire HIIT 15, TF sculptures 30, ab ignitor
Saturday - rest day

- continue to eat well, drink 64-100 oz of water daily and drink my shakeology daily :)
