Mamavation Monday - Meet the Finalists

This Monday they announce the finalists to the next Mamavation Mom Campaign..... one that I have applied for. I am so excited for this and hope they pick me. Did I mention how nervous I am? The group of ladies that applied are all so awesome and deserving of this campaign, so I know it's going to be a very hard choice for the decision committee. While I'll be a disappointed if I don't get picked, I know whoever does get picked will do a great job!! So good luck to all the wonderful ladies, and I hope that I will be one of the finalists joining 4 more of you.

Bokos Review

When I saw the opportunity to review Bokos sandals, I wasn't quite sure I wanted to... you see I'm not really a slide person, but my son, who by the way absolutely loves slides, talked me into it. And, I cannot be more grateful!!! These sandals are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. They are made of the softest rubber that feels great on your feet, and the bottom has a texture to it which makes you feel like you are getting a foot massage.

Bokos is a fairly new shoe, and the company is a family business, run by 2 brothers, their mom and sometimes their dad. Very friendly, nice people!

Another plus, they are extremely reasonably priced. You can buy them directly on the Bokos site or through Amazon for only $16.00, and for my readers only if you buy directly from Bokos, you can get 20% off if you enter the discount code of PAM. Definitely worth it. A great shoe for wearing to the beach, or just kicking it around town. I would definitely give these sandals and A+.

This review was made possible by Bokosusa. The thoughts expressed are my own. I received a pair of Bokos sandals for my time investment and work on this campaign.

Fabulous Friday

Happy Friday!! It's been a great week. It was the last week of school for both my boys, and my youngest graduated from elementary school. I decided to take the day off from work and spend it with him. I bought him his favorite lunch, an oven roasted chicken sub from Subway, we went to the movies to see Fast and Furious 6, took him to dinner with his grandparents and then took him bowling for our 2 free games with Kids Bowl Free. Fast and Furious 6 is an awesome movie.... you need to go see it.

Also, if you haven't checked out the Kids Bowl Free program, you need to. Your kids will get 2 free games every day throughout the summer, and they even offer a family pack that you can purchase for your yourself.

Hope you all had an awesome week and will have a great weekend!

Vitacost Kids' Gummie Vitamin Review

Thanks to Vitacost, I was lucky enough to review their multi-vitamin and Omega-3 gummie vitamins, or should I say my boys were lucky enough to try them. As soon as I received these vitamins in the mail, my boys were jumping for joy, and immediately had to try them. They love the taste of them, and I never have to remind them to take their vitamins. They usually remind me that I haven't given them their vitamins yet. The awesome thing about these vitamins is that they are all natural, and they contain no artificial flavors and dyes, which I have found in a lot of the vitamins that are offered in the stores.

As you can see, they are truly excited about trying them, AND they are major goof balls. They told me that the vitamins taste awesome, and that I better get them again when these run out. Vitacost has them reasonably priced, for only $11.49 for 150 count of the multivitamin, and $7.19 for a 60 count of the Omega-3 vitamins . Also, they are offering a great promotion right now, where you buy one and get the lower priced item for 1/2 off.  My kids give these vitamins an A+++++++.

This review was made possible by Vitacost. The thoughts expressed are my own. I received a bottle of Kid's Multivitamin gummies, and a bottle of Kid's Omega-3 gummies for my time investment and work on this campaign.

Inspiration Wednesday - a day late

Sorry about the late post, taking Tuesday off messed up my week and I forgot it was Wednesday yesterday LOL.

Pure Organic Review

Do you absolutely love fruit roll ups, but no longer eat them because of all the artificial ingredients that are included? Or, are you looking for an awesome snack for your kids, that's good for them.  I have a solution for you!! Pure Organic fruit and veggie strips and fruit sandwiches. They are to die for!! Thanks to Vitacost, I had the opportunity to try and review the Pure Organic Fruit Sandwich Pineapple Passionfruit and the Pure Organic Fruit and Veggie Strip Strawberry Apple . My only complaint is that they didn't send me enough to try. They were both flavorful, and fulfilled my sweet tooth craving. I absolutely love the all natural ingredients that they are both made of. Both products boast that they are:
  • Naturally Flavored
  • Non GMO Project Verified
  • Gluten-Free
  • Organic
  • Vegan

Mamavation Monday

Happy Monday all!! Sorry, I slacked last week (actually I was swamped at work), and I didn't get my Monday post up.... but I'm back on track today. So here's my wrap up -

Monday - 30 min walk
Tuesday - Turbo Fire Sculpt 30, boot camp
Wednesday - Turbo Fire HIIT 15, 30 min walk, bowling
Thursday - Turbo Fire Core 20, 30 min walk
Friday - 30 min walk
Saturday - 1/2 marathon trail run
Sunday - bowling

Let me tell you, that trail run was really tough.... had to pull from my inner self to finish that. 6 people DNF'd out of 243 racers. Oh, and I finished 165th.... not too bad. My time was 20 mins slower than my slowest 1/2, but with no training, and it being a trail run, I'll take it :)

Here's my schedule for next week -

Monday - Turbo Fire Low HIIT 25, 30 min walk
Tuesday - Turbo Fire Tone 30, boot camp, 30 min walk
Wednesday - HIIT 20, 30 min walk
Thursday - Turbo Fire Core 20, boot camp, 30 min walk
Friday - Turbo Fire Fire 30
Saturday/Sunday - 4-5 mile run/rest
plus, I will be bowling some of those days :)

How did your week go?

Kindrunner launch

Remember, a couple weeks ago when I told you about this great new program that was starting called Kindrunner. Well guess what, it launches today!!!! Isn't that exciting? I know, I'm ecstatic about it. This is an awesome program. I gave you a teaser on my blog mid May, but now it's actually gone live, and you can experience it yourself.

Okay, so what makes kindrunner so unique, and why am I so stoked about it.... here are just a few things.

1. Confident Runner Pricing – An option presented upon checkout which rewards those who know exactly what they are looking for. This option waives the Free Return Shipping but offers the shoe at a below retail price. Shipping of product to customer is still free, as is the return shipping of donated shoes for Kindness Cash Rewards Program.

2. Free 3 Way Shipping – Free shipping of your order to you, free shipping of any returns for any reason, free shipping of your donated shoes back to us for re-purposing with Soles 4 Souls or The More Foundation Group.

3. Kindness Cash Rewards Program – This is what turns your old shoes into credit towards new ones or any product on our website. KCR are available to the customer after any footwear purchase (the idea behind this is to replace your old shoes with new ones, and keep the old ones out of the garbage, landfills, or ones closet… thus why it is available after footwear purchase). Upon receipt of their footwear order, customers have the option to place their old shoes into the KindRunner shipping box and place the pre-paid return label on the box for shipment back to us.  Upon receipt of the label, we will scan the bar code and place the KCR onto the customers account for future use.  Each return label (whether it contain one pair or 4 pairs of shoes) is worth $10 KCR per new shoes purchased (5 pairs purchased on that order, you can earn up to $50 KCR) or credits towards future purchase. The KCR can be used to purchase ANYTHING that kindrunner sells and will never expire.

4. Expert Product Reviews – Some of you may have seen some of these on their youtube page, www.youtube.com/kindrunner. Each and every product we carry will come with an expert product review video on the same page that the product is listed on.  These videos are done by individuals who have worked in the running industry for a number of years either as shoe reps, store owners, or expert shoe fitters at one of the oldest running stores in the nation. We bring the knowledge of your neighborhood specialty run shop to the comforts of your own home!

5. Easy 365 returns – A customer has 365 days to return any product, so long as it is in its original packaging and in its original condition.  If you are injured and unable to use the shoe, if your doctor wants you in a different model because of orthotics, no worries… no questions asked!

Nobrainer, isn't it.... this is an awesome company. Here's something to sweeten the pot even more, a nice reward for their earliest customers. “Free Socks for Life” to their first 500 customers! Each time one of their first 500 customers returns and purchases a new shoe their order will ship with a free pair of socks of their choice from our sock inventory.  As long as this customer continues to run, they will continue to get socks from kindrunner.com! Pretty awesome, isn't it!!

So what are you waiting for..... go check them out!!! Go like them on facebook, follow them on twitter and instagram, and check out their youtube videos. You won't be sorry!!!!
